Here is a simple crystal ritual to help you release things that are blocking your path.
Materials needed:
- sage
- matches
- a fireproof dish
- paper and pen/pencil
- 1 rose quartz stone
- 1 black onyx stone
- 1 clear quartz stone
The Ritual:
Cleanse your space with sage, then yourself, then your crystals, pen, and paper.
Say a prayer to the Divine for blessings of protection and success during your ritual.
Seat yourself comfortably where you will not be disturbed for 30 minutes at the most. Hold rose quartz in your receptive hand with the intention of its energy bringing you peace. Hold black onyx in your dominant hand with the intention of it protecting you while it absorbs the stale or negative energy from your aura. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and allow yourself to relax. Sit for at least 5 minutes, focusing on your breath.
Now ask yourself honestly what you are truly, deeply ready to let go of. Let the responses float up to you from heart and soul. Write them down on your piece of paper.
Once you feel complete, hold your clear quartz in your dominant hand laying it on your piece of paper. One item at a time read through your list and connect with your feelings about each item. As you do, imagine channeling those feelings through the clear quartz and onto your paper, clearing the energy from your system.
After you’ve gone through your list, fold your paper once, making the fold away from you as opposed to towards you. This will contain the energy.
Crumple the paper(s) up into a ball and drop it into your fireproof dish. Sprinkle it with some pieces of sage. Take the fireproof dish outside or into a well-ventilated room. Light the ball on fire and let it burn down to ashes. As it burns, command the fire to open the road by saying out loud three times: “Open the Road!!!”
When all that is left is ashes, say: “By the blessings of the Divine (use your deity’s name here) the road is now open. My path is clear and unbroken. So must it be (or any other words you usually use to end a ritual).” Give thanks to the Divine and the spirits of fire and earth (crystals, sage), and sage your crystals of all energies before returning them to their pouch.
